WHAT IS THERAPY?
Therapy is a chance for the client to talk about critical difficulties with a skilled professional (the therapist) who can offer advice on how to deal with both the current situation and similar ones in the future. Therapy may address a single issue or a number of issues. It's important to note that therapy is a collaborative process; for change to happen, both the client and the therapist must take an active role.
WHAT IS COUNSELLING?
Counselling is a professional relationship that helps individuals explore and their personal, emotional, or psychological challenges. It provides a safe and supportive environment where clients can discuss their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. HOW DOES CONFIDENCIALITY WORKS?
Basically, whatever you say in therapy, stays in therapy? However, there are times when a therapist is legally obligated to break confidentiality: Requested by the court, harm to self or others, health emergency and for an underage child.
HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION TAKE?
Each Adonis Blue Social Services session take up to 45 minutes.
